Prior to completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Arizona State University in 1976, I had the opportunity to reside and work on an international archeological expedition in the Old City of Jerusalem. In 1981, I was awarded a Juris Doctor in New York City from Brooklyn Law School. I was selected as a national member in the Order of Barristers, a national honor society recognizing those individuals who have excelled in oral courtroom advocacy and legal brief writing skills. I am an alumni of the University of Oregon where I received a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations / Human Resource Management in 1985. Subsequently, I served as an adjunct professor in the College of Business. Since my admission to the Oregon State Bar Association in 1983, I have maintained my membership in good standing. I was admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for The District of Oregon in 1985. From 1983 – 1990, I owned and operated ‘Lawyers Research Service,’ an agency providing research and writing support for Oregon attorneys.
